Cucurbita maxima
.Aromatic variety (4-7 kg) with blue-green skin and orange flesh.
The name of the variety refers to a stretch of land and a city in Italy near Venice. The variety rang rather strongly and the flesh is very tasty. It has a rather dry consistency and can be wonderfully processed as gnocci, for example. However, the fruit is also good for boiling, steaming, frying or soups. Sometimes the variety is also called dragon squash because of the knobbly, warty skin. The fruits can be stored for a very long time.
